Classic Craftsmen Inc. began through a collaborative effort between us both, Andy Price and Steve Eidson, in 1987. We started our careers after technical school working in cabinet shops and later expanded into remodeling as freelance carpenters. Throughout our career, we have had the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of remodeling projects and new construction. Our portfolio ranges greatly including smaller renovations to large, multi-month builds with extensive customizations.

In the earlier days, we were often hired for contracted to work with architects, designers, and homeowners who had started projects but needed additional help from professionals. Many of these projects included high-rise build outs, extensive structural repairs, additions, as well as detailed trim and cabinetry.  As we grew our client base, it became evident that we would need to become licensed General Contractors to accommodate more client requests. In early 1995, we officially formed Classic Craftsmen, Inc. and have been successful throughout the Metro-Atlanta area ever since.

We our proud to say we have built many long-term partnerships with our clients over the last 30 years and still maintain many of our initial clients. Our clients have included top executives from Coca-Cola, IBM, Better Brands, and PepsiCo to name a few.

We have worked on many projects with talented architects and designers throughout Atlanta, including home renovations designed by students of Frank Lloyd Wright in addition to designs furnished by one of the top authorities of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. We have also built a wide client base of Historic Home Restorations, including areas such as Downtown Roswell and Downtown Atlanta.

Not only do we specialize in custom home remodeling, we have experience in biological remediation due to black water intrusion and other intrusive issues. We have also served as professional witnesses for the National Arbitration Association to resolve issues with inferior construction practices due to our experience in the industry.

Contact us for more information on your project, our experience, or any other questions you may have!

We look forward to hearing from you!

Welcome to Classic Craftsmen Inc.

Although both Andy and Steve grew up in North Atlanta and had mutual acquaintances their friendship and business did not begin until a joint effort building a site sculpture for an artist at the “Piedmont Arts Festival”. The “Topological Kink” as the sculptor named it consisted of a sixty foot long elliptical arched bridge, an equilateral pyramid 12 feet tall and a 16 foot elongated pyramid sticking through it. Almost all these elements were constructed on site. After the festival they moved the entire sculpture to the Howell Mill Water Works where it remained for several years until the reservoir was expanded.
